Sankalita Saha is Senior Director, Digital Signals Research in OptumLabs at Unitedhealth Group. She has been working in R&D and product development in the health and fitness domain for 10 years. She started her work in this area with the Jawbone UP band and finally at Apple where she and her team delivered multiple health and fitness features on the Apple Watch. She earned her PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park and B.Tech in Electronics and ECE from IIT Kharagpur, India.
